DSC2 + ECCO-YD-24V BASIC STAND ALONE ECONOMY CYCLE CONTROL
Using the DSC2 return air duct sensor/controller interlocked with an ECCO-YD-24v O/A wall mount inhibit thermostat can be used as a stand alone independent control system for economy cycle only control. Typically required because the A/C unit only comes with a propriety room temperature /time switch control station (so called pendent) that cannot also control an economy cycle operation. Adding these two field mount devices adds this economy cycle control albeit independent from the room thermostat. Fresh air mode of economy cycle operation is triggered if the return air temperature is above the DSC2 R/A sensors setpoint (ie 23c) and the outside air temperature is measured to be within a low & high adjustable temperature limits, which are set in the O/A ECCO thermostat.
